Most Commonly asked questions about Wanna Lift Tram Systems

Q.  Do you have financing available?
A.  Yes, with approved credit.

Q.  Why should I buy a Lift?
A.  A lift allows you to safely enjoy your waterfront property without the inconvenience of climbing stairs.  It enhances your property as well as the value.  You have access to the lake or river in your own unique setting.

Q. How is the car mounted to the track?
A.  The car rolls on ball bearing rubber-tired wheels.  This allows for smooth, quiet running on inside as well as top of the track.

Q.  Can the lift be installed on our bank?
A.  Yes!  It can be adjusted to almost any degree of angle.  The track is of rigid construction so that it will span over different types of terrain with very little changing of bank formation.  The track is installed in a straight line, as close to the ground as possible.  In some cases, lake shore access can be enjoyed for the first time!

Q.  Can the car be taken off or tipped off the track?
A.  No.  There are safety guides that ride on the inside and underside of the track, thus locking the car to the track.

Q.  How can I get the car when I'm at the opposite end of the track?
A.  Control switches at the top and bottom enable you to operate the lift from either end, along with optional remote control.

Q. Does the lift shut off automatically?
A. Yes, There are limit switches at both the tope and bottom that automatically stop the car.  Most systems feature the state of the art "Soft" Starts and Stops system.

Q.  Can a wheelchair be taken up or down in the car?
A.  A special car for wheelchair passengers is available if requested when ordering a lift.

Q.  What would happen if the cable should break?
A.  All systems have many different safety features that stop the car in the event of a broken cable.  One such feature is a spring loaded pins that automatically lock the car to the track.  An over-speed machine can also engage the centrifugal brake if needed.

Q.  Are there contractor or handiman self-install packages available?
A.  Yes, Our consultant can show you how to be a partner with a wannalift self install package.  Request a consultation today...
